Madison Square Unity Garden

Madison Square Garden, the new Unity Garden at 1230 E. Madison St., will be one of the Tour de Unity bike tour stops on June 11, this coming Saturday. It's a great chance to come out, meet neighbors -- and see the garden as it continues to grow! Stop by and bring a friend too.

The 2011 website for Madison Square Garden is at http://themadisonsquaregarden.blogspot.com/ for updates and weekend volunteer times.

Saturday volunteer hours are normally from 9 a.m. to noon, with the riders -- so far, there's about 30 of them -- expected at about 11:30 a.m.

Information about the bike tour will be on the site, along with a map and other information for Near East neighbors that's already linked there.

Ride Update

The Bike Tour is Just one week away , and we have had many late entries . So after speaking with the t-shirt company we decided if you sign up late we can order you a t-shirt & wave the late fee for the ride . Come out the day of the ride we will be starting registration at 8am.
The Ride will begin at 9am . Each garden will have some drinks & Snacks . Save time & copy & paste form off this blog.
